Shwedagon Pagoda

Day 1: Arrive Yangon

Arrive Yangon International Airport by evening flight. Transfer to hotel and check in. Over night at Hotel.

Day 2: Yangon (B, D)

After Breakfast visit to Yangon Fullday sightseeing, Shwe Dagon pagoda (one of the ancient wonders of the world), Kaba Aye Pagoda (World Peace Pagoda), Maha Pasana Cave, Gem Museum, Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda (a huge reclining Buddha image), Sule Pagoda (a landmark of the city center), Bogyoke Market (in the downtown area, with hundreds of stores selling from lacquerware to silk). Enjoy the river life of Yangon Sunset Cruise (RV Mahaythi) Depart from Wartan Oil Filling Jetty (16:30~18:00). Dinner at Royal Karaweik (Culture Show & Buffet Dinner). Over night at Hotel.

Kyaikhtiyo Golden Rock

Day 3: Yangon – Kyaikhtiyo (B)

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Kin Pun "base camp" (194 km, drive 5 hours). Continue to Kyaikhtiyo (the Golden Rock Pagoda, Near Kyaikhto town in Mon State is a huge boulder completely covered by gold leaves and delicately balanced on the edge of a cliff. From Khim Pun, a steep and rough 11 km dirt road leads to the upper staging point, a journey made in open trucks, which are very crowded. From the upper area, travelers must at present walk the final stage, approximately 4km up steep paths, which ascend some 500m to the Golden Rock.) Watch the beauty of sunset. Over night at Hotel.

Bago Sightseeing

Day 4: Kyaikhtiyo – Bago (B)

Breakfast at hotel. Early morning Golden Rock pagoda sightseeing. Back to Kin Pun base camp. Drive to Yangon, on the way Kyaik Pawlow Pagoda in Kyaikhto and then visit to Bago (about two hours' drive from Yangon, the capital of the mighty 16th century kingdom of Hanthawady.) and Bago sightseeing includes Kyaik Pun Pagoda (Famous for its four giant Buddhas), Shwe Maw Daw Pagoda (One of the most famous sites in Bago, its annual festival in April is one of the biggest in lower Myanmar), Shwethalyaung Buddha Image (is the 55m long a beautiful reclining Buddha), and Kanbawza Thadi Palace (the name of an imposing palace built by the founder of the second Myanmar Empire, King Bayintnaung (1551-1581 CE), whose seat of power was the grand capital of Hanthawady, now known as Bago). Return to Yangon through rural landscape of paddy fields and small villages, a handicraft village producing woven bamboo wares. Over night at Hotel.

Day 5: Departure from Yangon (B)

Breakfast at Hotel. Transfer to airport. Departure from Yangon.
